COVID-19疫苗對於保護生命的貢獻有目共睹，也開啟了大眾對於成人疫苗的認知。隨著技術開發及知識累積，除了COVID-19疫苗，還有許多效果卓著的成人疫苗，可以幫助人們抵抗20種以上的疾病侵襲，提升健康福祉，而世界衛生組織(WHO)也已推出Immunization Agenda 2030，提倡終身施打疫苗的概念(vaccination coverage across the life-course)。本次活動目的為介紹成人疫苗的概況、對於預防醫學的價值，幫助個人及企業雇主瞭解這項重要的健康守護工具。

Adult Vaccination: undervalued and underused health prevention tool
COVID-19 vaccines have significantly contributed to protecting lives and raised public awareness about adult vaccination. Apart from COVID-19 vaccines, there are many other vaccines available to protect adults from more than 20 diseases, the result of decades of scientific research, knowledge accumulation, and technological development. The WHO has also contributed to the conversation, putting forward its proposed Immunization Agenda 2030, in recognition of the value of adult vaccination and promoting vaccination coverage across the life-course. This event is meant to provide an overview of adult vaccinations available and its value to preventive healthcare, aiming to increase understanding of this important healthcare measure by individuals and employers alike.

本活動邀請到台灣疫苗學的重量級醫師黃立民教授擔任講者，黃教授為前任台大兒童醫院院長、感染症醫學會名譽理事長，並為台大醫學院小兒科暨台大公衛學院流行病學與預防醫學研究所特聘教授。黃教授就疫苗學、分子病毒學及兒童感染症擁有極為豐富的臨床及研究經驗，並長期投入衛教宣導工作，以深入淺出的方式提供大眾正確的醫學知識，在COVID-19疫情期間也就防疫工作提出建言，是台灣醫界的著名公衛專家。
Prof. Huang is former Superintendent of National Taiwan University Children's Hospital and Honorary Chairman of the Infectious Diseases Society of Taiwan. He is also Distinguished Professor at the NTU College of Medicine in the Paediatrics as well as Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine Departments. With his rich clinical and research experience in vaccinology, molecular virology, and paediatric infectious diseases, Prof. Huang is dedicated to raising public awareness on health-related issues and is known for his highly effective communication style. During the recent COVID-19 pandemic, Prof. Huang advised the government extensively on related health matters and is widely regarded as one of Taiwan's foremost public health experts.
