UK Export Finance - Leading with finance to support exports FULL
Event Summary
Hosted by the British Representative in Taipei, Ms Catherine Nettleton, this exclusive luncheon gives you the opportunity to meet and hear direct from Louis Taylor, the Chief Executive of London-based UK Export Finance (UKEF), the UK’s export credit agency.
UKEF – an arm of the UK government - provides insurance to exporters and guarantees to banks to share the risk of providing export finance. In addition, UKEF can make loans to overseas buyers of goods and services from the UK. Overall, its products can help tackle three of the most common barriers to exporting: strains on cash flow; risk of non-payment; and availability of finance for overseas buyers. Its mission: To ensure that no viable UK export fails for want of finance or insurance from the private sector, while operating at no net cost to the UK taxpayer.
Come and hear Louis Taylor explain how UKEF can help businesses manage risk and uncertainty to make the most of the exciting opportunities offered by Taiwan.
