The annual BCCT x Intake Education Careers Fair supported by the British Council returns 25-26 November. This year's Careers Fair will be held online.

Your BCCT is dedicated to Young Professional Development and organizes many events for Young Professionals every year. The BCCT Intake Education Careers Fair is part of our commitment to Young Professional Development, aiming to connect International Corporations and Young Professionals by inviting recent UK graduates and alumni groups in Taiwan to take part. Last year, due to COVID-19, we were forced to cancelled the Careers Fair. Normally, we have over 300 graduate attendees. Graduates come from different fields including business, engineering, finance, marketing and many others. Businesses tell us that this Careers Fair is valuable to them because it targets international graduates with strong English skills and a solid UK (or other overseas) education. This year, due to COVID-19, and in the interests of public safety, the Careers Fair will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams. Each exhibitor will have its own 60-90 minute timeslot to promote their company and meet new talents. During this time, your organisation can provide a 20-minute introduction to its industry, activities, operations and career opportunities. During the subsequent 40 minutes, either 1:1 interviews, group interviews and/or Q&A may be conducted, in accordance with your requirements.

As this year's format is different from past events, BCCT will ensure that every student/candidate registers before the event and identifies organisations that they are interested in meeting: candidates will be timetabled accordingly. Careers Fair staff will remind candidates to join the online session in the specified timeslot. BCCT can also pre-collect desired information from candidates when registering, e.g. LinkedIn profile, CV, Certificates etc., subject to your requirements.

Promotion will take place via Intake Education Study World and through BCCT and British Council social media channels and networks.

Typically, we receive over 300 graduate attendees at our Careers Fairs. Graduates come from different fields including business, engineering, finance, marketing, and many others. Businesses say that our Careers Fair is valuable to them because it targets international graduates with strong English skills and a solid UK (or other overseas destination) education. Because this year's event is online, it will be possible to attract candidates from further afield that might not ordinarily be able to attend a physical event in Taipei, therefore candidates from other regions of Taiwan will have the opportunity to join the Careers Fair.
