JOHN JAMESON
He's our Founding Father. In 1780, he set up his distillery in Bow St., Dublin. Jameson set out to produce the smoothest whiskey. - not once, not twice but three times distilled.

JOHN'S LEGACY TODAY
Through two Worlds Wars, an Irish civil war and American prohibition, John's triple distilled whiskey has stood the test of time. While our heart still beats in our original home in Dublin, we've moved our distillery to Co. Cork, where we've enough room to make enough Jameson for the world to enjoy.
WHERE DOES OUR GREAT TASTE COME FROM?
FINEST LOCAL INGREDIENTS
At Jameson, we are proud to run a single distillery, which means we have full control over the production process, from grain to glass. Our barley is all grown within 100 miles of Midleton, our water comes from the Dungourney river, which flows right through our distillery.
TRIPLE DISTILLATION
American whiskies typically single distil.
Scotch whiskys tend to double distil.
In 1780, John Jameson triple distilled our whiskey. And we've been proudly sticking to his method ever since.
MATURED IN SEASONED OAK BARRELS
While Jameson is Irish through and through, we turn to our friends in the United States and Spain to provide casks seasoned by bourbon and Sherry.
The barrels' previous life gives our whiskey hints of vanilla, sweet sherry and toasted wood.
