Building a successful career in a global organization depends on a number of factors, but one of the key factors is the ability to communicate effectively. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely and the ability to communicate strategically by providing insights and adding value differentiates managers and leaders from employees.
What will you learn?
In this event, I'll highlight the difference between communicating like an employee and communicating like a leader, so that you can use communication skills to position yourself as a leader.
More specifically, in this event you'll learn:
- how to avoid using a communication style that positions you as an employee or assistant
- about best practice global communication and the difference between English ability and communication skills
- how to use a communication style focused on adding value and providing insights rather than reporting facts
- how to use a proactive communication style focused on delivering results
- how to increase your productivity by using a clear structure and concise language to communicate a lot of information in a short-period of time
