英國在台辦事處與台北英僑商務協會（BCCTaipei）將於2023年台灣國際智慧能源展中，攜手英國離岸風電業者設立英國離岸風電館，分享英國在離岸風電及浮動式離岸風電產業相關創新技術及風場運維專業，支持台灣離岸風電產業發展，共同邁向綠色永續未來。

Energy Trends: UK renewables 英國再生能源發展趨勢

基於英國在脫碳和潔淨成長(clean growth) 技術方面的優勢，英國在固定式和浮動式離岸風電方面位居歐洲領先地位，且是全球第二大的離岸風電產業市場。截至2022年，英國發展離岸風電計畫已擁有高達78GW的裝置容量潛能，位居全球第一。2022年4月發布的英國能源安全策略（British Energy Security Strategy），已經訂定至2030年實現高達50 GW離岸風力發電的目標，其中包括5 GW來自浮動式離岸風電創新技術。英國擁有離岸風電產業的專業知識、技術和服務，可以支持印太地區各個市場和企業發展，發展供應鏈產業，落實離岸風力發電目標。

Up-and-comer: UK renewables in Taiwan 英國再生能源在台灣

英國與台灣在再生能源相關產業的合作已經有將近20年的交流經驗，特別是在離岸風電產業方面。自2004年起，英國和台灣產官學界共同合作發展離岸風電產業，持續分享英國在能源政策制定、產業供應鏈發展、及創新研發等實務經驗。台北市英僑商務協會的英國再生能源委員會 (UK Renewables Committee, UKRC) 也積極促進並培育本地離岸風電人才，協助會員間的商業合作，將英國再生能源的領先技術引入台灣，協助台灣能源轉型，進而創造英國與台灣產業發展及合作機會。

為了支持台灣的離岸風電計畫，目前已經有超過40家英國離岸風電業者在台灣設立據點，找尋合作的計畫與商機，其中更有將台灣設為其亞太區的營運總部。

Sarah is the Business Development Manager in Taiwan at Aggreko, which is the world's largest temporary power generation company. Recently, she also took over one of the two Co-Chair positions at the UK Renewable Committee (UKRC).

She has close to 7 years’ experience in the Renewable Energy Sector in Taiwan, mainly focusing on supporting the Wind Industry to reach the very ambitious green energy goals.
Her primary responsibility is working with corporate customers to support them during installation and commissioning by offering complex Power Management Solutions such as micro-grids and flexible power.

Prior to joining Aggreko, Sarah was Sales Manager APAC at Enercon Taiwan, supporting the wind energy development efforts onshore.

Sarah holds a master’s degree in Environmental Science and Humanity from the National Dong Hwa University of Hualien and a bachelor degree in International Management & Chinese language from the Technology & Design University of Konstanz Germany.

Sarah is living in Taiwan for almost a decade and has permanent residence status. In her free time she enjoys Taiwan’s beautiful nature, especially the coastal areas, practicing different water sports, such as diving and surfing.

With a degree in Environmental Engineering (M.Sc.), Shang has been planning and monitoring construction and infrastructure projects since 2015.

In his previous role as Project Control Engineer for a large construction enterprise in Taiwan, Malaysia, and Oman, he was responsible for project schedules and document control.

Dealing with clients and engineers daily, Shang brings excellent stakeholder management skills. Especially, when it comes to communicating project progress and significant deviations.

Shang has also been working in Orsted and Formosa 2 as project planner in previous years. That’s where he experienced a whole EPC cycle of offshore windfarm. Afterwards, he worked at Synera Renewable Energy (SRE) as Commercial manager for O&M preparation phase of Formosa 2. That’s where he learned the knowledge of contract and OMSA strategy. After SRE, Shang was employed with Peak Wind on an operational windfarm in Taiwan. He gained a lot of operation experience at an actual O&M site.

Now, Shang is the APAC Tender Manager of James Fisher Taiwan, a global marine engineering business which specializes in HV management and BoP service in Taiwan.

Mr Huang is an Associate Director of ERM’s Renewable Advisory Team based in Taipei, Taiwan. He has experience in climate change & sustainable advisory and moved to the offshore wind industry in 2019. He works on various topics for renewables and leads the market intelligence and project development service from energy policy analysis, site selection, feasibility study, stakeholder engagement, permit and consent, etc. in the previous RCG Taipei office. He keeps a close eye on APAP and Taiwan offshore wind markets, and supports several well-known developers to enter different markets. In addition to offshore wind project development, he has engaged in several Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) projects in Taiwan and European markets for both the generator and off-taker side.

With a background in agriculture, rural and regional planning as well as extensive experience and a chartership in waste management, Kirstine Wood held several high- profile roles in both public and private sector organisations before taking up her current role as Head of Communications at pioneering offshore wind developer, Flotation Energy.

Kirstine’s passion lies delivering meaningful and successful planning policies that create value for both the organisations she supports as well as the stakeholders impacted by said policies. Working with local and regional government Kirstine was responsible for pitching and then delivering solid business cases to add significant benefit in areas such as waste management, grid connection and energy security.

Now responsible for strategic brand development, government relations and stakeholder engagement at Flotation Energy, Kirstine leads a passionate team of communicators to help promote the opportunities of offshore wind globally.

Outside of work, Kirstine loves spending time with her children, husband and ever-growing assortment of animals.
