British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei Member Exclusive Event: Political & Economic Update from the British Office

Your BCCT cordially invites all members to hear John Dennis, Representative of the British Office Taipei, and his team speak about the UK/Taiwan relationship and the work of the Mission, Department for International Trade and Prosperity teams. There will be a Q&A session (10-15 minutes) open to all BCCT members.
Members are invited, when registering, to advise of questions or topics that they might wish to be addressed, and, subject to timing and ability, we'll do our best to cover them.
The session will cover the following topics:
- Briefing on the UK/Taiwan relationship: key recent, and future, regional and bilateral developments, including the impacts of the pandemic, and overall planning assumptions
- Briefing on the work of the Department for International Trade and Prosperity teams
- Short briefing on the wider work of the mission, including consular: how we can help and how to engage
- Interactive discussion: Q and A
